After relegation to Serie B, Juventus settled with a €300,000 fine for the Swiss SIM cards used by its d.g. This was followed by the €718,000 of the Great Cover-Up, Fagioli, Tonali, Inzaghi and Calha

If you too want to join the “Club of the Last-Minute Outraged” over the lenient sanction (one-match suspension) imposed by the sports justice system on Simone Inzaghi and Calhanoglu for their dealings with Inter’s criminal supporters, go ahead and join the queue: but be warned, the club is already sold out, standing room only. However, if you want to break away from the herd, do something intelligent, and join the only club worth mobilizing for, know that the “Club of the First-Hour Outraged” has room for everyone; in fact, hardly anyone knows it exists. Because it brings together those who are not outraged against the tesserati (registered members) guilty of one misdeed or another (match-fixing, betting, blasphemy, illicit relationships), but against those who manage and manipulate the disgraceful circus of Italian sports justice: namely, the FIGC, which everyone thinks stands for Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (Italian Football Federation), but actually stands for Federazione Italiana Gioco Corrotto (Italian Federation of Corrupt Games). The truth is that the FIGC and its Federal Prosecutor’s Office do not stand as protectors of rules and proper behavior but as protectors of crimes and the wrongdoers who commit them. And as shameful as the one-match suspension is, with which the Federal Prosecutor’s Office concluded the plea bargain with the two Inter tesserati involved in the “Double Curve” investigation, compared to the atrocities of past plea bargains blessed by the FIGC, the Inzaghi and Calhanoglu case is a mere trifle.
